Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a table-based assisted stretch therapy that can reduce pain, restore function, increase range of motion, aid in injury prevention and help your everyday movements as well as fitness and sport. This research-driven system of assisted stretches targets neuromyofascial tissue, which is the connective tissue found throughout the body surrounding your muscles, bones, joints and organs. FST uses gentle traction and flow of movement for optimal results in mobility and pain management.

Athletes often experience improved flexibility, speed and performance and less active individuals benefit from improved mobility, improved sleep quality and stress reduction.

Clients are asked to bring socks and to wear comfortable, stretchy clothing.

Lucy obtained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at University of East Anglia and her Post Grad Diploma Advanced in Neuromusculoskeletal from the University of Hertfordshire.

Lucy started her career in the UK NHS and then moved to private practice. As part of her private practice work, she was the Team Physiotherapist for a National 7’s rugby team. This role encompassed the management of elite level athletes in an acute on-field environment, injury rehabilitation with a full return to sport and a pro-active role in injury prevention. In these roles, she focused on musculoskeletal conditions especially spinal issues, orthopaedic post-operative care and sports rehabilitation. Lucy is a qualified acupuncturist and practices dry needling.

She also had the privilege to work exclusively for an Olympic Medical Team both in London and abroad for the London Olympics in 2012.

Lucy moved to Hong Kong in 2016 for a culture change and to seek a different treatment approach, here she learnt the Connect Therapy model and spent time in Toronto studying this. This has lead her to looking at the body as a whole and is happy to argue that the Connect model actually does look at the body as a whole!

Lucy is available for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
