Pilates
Pilates is a system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, balance and posture. Benefiting people with knee, back and ankle problems, Pilates is useful in the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries related to muscle imbalances and to evening out strength and flexibility on both sides of the body - great for one-sided sport players and scoliosis stabilization. In addition to reducing stress and promoting relaxation, Pilates provides whole body benefits.
Clients are requested to wear clothing suitable for exercising in.
Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a table-based assisted stretch therapy that can reduce pain, restore function, increase range of motion, aid in injury prevention and help your everyday movements as well as fitness and sport. This research-driven system of assisted stretches targets neuromyofascial tissue, which is the connective tissue found throughout the body surrounding your muscles, bones, joints and organs. FST uses gentle traction and flow of movement for optimal results in mobility and pain management.
Athletes often experience improved flexibility, speed and performance and less active individuals benefit from improved mobility, improved sleep quality and stress reduction.
Clients are asked to bring socks and to wear comfortable, stretchy clothing.
